InCollaboration Incorporated, Arts in Education and The Performing Arts:

InCollaboration Inc., also known as the Readers Theatre Workshop, is a 501(c)(3) arts education organization founded in 1983 to advance literacy skills among the youth of New York, particularly those in economically and socially disadvantaged neighborhoods and those attending under performing schools.

InCollaboration, Inc. is comprised of two complementary groups working together: the Educational Services Group which applies art, artistry, creativity and craft in our schools through a talented roster of enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated  Teaching Artists, and The Performing Arts Group, comprised of INC Showcase Productions, which produces live performances of story theatre for young audiences, and  InCollaboration Inc Presents, a presenting organization for individual and ensemble performers, cultural artists and craftspeople, musicians and dancers.

Programs are presented in schools, libraries, neighborhood centers, museums, parks, corporate assembly areas and other suitable spaces.

You will find a wealth of information about our various performing arts programs and story theatre productions and the very dedicated, charming and professional individuals that populate them, by browsing the related links at the top left of this page.

InCollaboration Inc. programs are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State agency.
We also acknowledge the continuing and invaluable support provided by
The New York City Council, Council Members Eric Gioia and Peter Vallone, Speaker Christine Quinn, the entire Queens Delegation and Queens Borough President Helen Marshall; The Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the New York State Music Fund, Con Edison, JPMorganChase, the Carnegie Corporation and the Morgan Stanley Group of Companies.
