InCollaboration, Inc., doing business as the Readers Theatre Workshop, and working in partnerships with schools, community school districts, government agencies and other arts organizations, offers programs to enhance student performance, engage parental involvement, and provide professional development and teacher training, using the arts and technology as an integral part of classroom instruction.
The General Program Categories Offered by the Company are listed below and include the Theatre Arts, Dance, Music, and the Visual Arts; Multi-Media Programs, Movie-making and Editing; Culturally Specific Arts and Crafts; the Performing Arts such as mimic, mime, puppeteer, poet, magician, illusionist, acrobat, gymnast, wrangler, wrestler, etc.; many of the programs include, in some way, a literacy component to improve the reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills of students. All of the programs incorporate the applicable State's Learning Standards and, in New York City, conform to New York City's Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.

Programs number in the dozens for a specific workshop series or an arts partnership residency. The Company continues to promote literacy among the young in this digital age, and has taken major steps to incorporate the digital camera, scanner, digital video, recordable and writable CDs and DVDs, digital editing, digital music composition and scoring, and computer productivity technology into its school programs, using technology as a further means to improve student reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, right along with pens, pencils, paper, paint, crayons and books.
